Breaking Down the Cost of the NFL Sunday Ticket Package

Breaking Down the Cost of the NFL Sunday Ticket Package-Tickets

For the 2009 season, the regular price of the DIRECTV NFL Sunday ticket package is going to be around 0. With a slumbering economy affecting consumer spending, you might be wondering if the Sunday Ticket is a ripoff, or if it is still a worthwhile value for football fans.

Tickets

The first thing you should probably do is evaluate how much of an NFL fan you are. Hardcore fans, fantasy football players, and those who bet the line are probably the prime target for DIRECTV and the NFL. Another huge market is the fan who lives outside of the area where his favorite team plays. If you fall into one of these categories, then the NFL package might be right for you.

If we stop and evaluate the cost of the Sunday Ticket package, it doesn't look so bad. Since the NFL season runs 17 weeks, you are looking at a price tag of .65 each week for the package. If you add on the Superfan package for another 0, the weekly cost rises to .53 for every NFL Sunday.

Consider the cost of attending an NFL game. If you are taking a family of four, you will easily spend 0 on tickets, and probably another to 0 on parking, food and beer. Add to that any NFL merchandise for yourself or the kids, and you could easily drop 0 on one Sunday NFL game.

Alternatively, you could go out to your favorite restaurant or bar to watch your team play every Sunday. In that case, you could easily run up a tab of or more enjoying the game.

When you look at the alternatives, the NFL Sunday Ticket package may not be as expensive as you think. Of course you have to be a DIRECTV customer before you can even order the package, so that may be your first order of business before the season starts.

Types of Arrest Warrants - A Look at Felony, Civil and Alias Arrest Warrants

Types of Arrest Warrants - A Look at Felony, Civil and Alias Arrest Warrants-Tickets

A warrant of arrest is issued by the court ordering law enforcers to detain a person. Basically, arrest warrants are issued if there has been a crime that was committed and there is enough evidence to incriminate a suspect, and if the person named in the warrant committed the crime.

Tickets

However, there is also warrant of arrests issued if the person in question failed to show up in court. For example, if you have outstanding parking tickets and you fail to pay for it or to show up for court to hear your case, then an arrest warrant may be issued in your name.

There are also search warrants that give the authority to search a person's premises. Although this is not necessarily an arrest warrant, if the authorities found narcotics or other evidence that point to a particular crime, they can automatically arrest you without the warrant of arrest.

Another type of warrant is called the bench warrant. This is basically issued to people who have skipped their next scheduled court appearance. The superior court warrant is also another type of warrant issued by the county court or the Supreme Court. This secures the appearance of the defendant on court who has been indicted.

These are the types of arrest warrants that are commonly used by the law. It is important to remember that having arrest warrants is a serious thing and that you should not try and ignore it. If you do not remember committing any crime, and you have an arrest warrant in your name, then you may want to try getting the arrest warrant reviewed as you may have been a victim of identity theft.

What's a Felony Warrant?

People don't understand that there are different kinds of warrants that can be issued by the court. One of which is called the felony warrant. Basically, if this type of warrant was issued, the person in the warrant can be arrested for felony charges or for crimes that he or she committed.

One example would be the case of Paula Poundstone who was arrested on a felony warrant. The charges were three counts of lewd acts on a 14 year old girl. She was also charged for endangering two unidentified girls and two boys by driving under the influence.

This is an example of a case where felony warrants can be issued. Although the three lewd acts charges were dropped, she underwent a 180 alcohol rehabilitation program.

Felony warrants lasts until the authority arrests the person who was charged with a particular felony act.

Felony warrants are public documents which can be legally and freely viewed by the public and is a serious type of warrant that should not be ignored. It is important that you should try searching for felony warrants in your name in order to make sure that you are free from any felony charges that you may not know about.

You have to consider that fact that people may use your identity and you may be charged with a crime under your name that was committed by another person who used your identity to commit the crime.

This is what felony warrant is all about. Lewd acts or conduct is just one type of crime that felony warrant may be filed against you.

What is a Civil Warrant?

There are a lot of people who fills out a civil warrant or a civil summons form. However, not many people know about it and that they often mistake it for an arrest warrant. So, just what is a civil warrant and where is it used?

Basically, a civil warrant is commonly issued in the small claims court when filing suit. The plaintiff will be requested to fill out a civil warrant or a civil summons form. In this form, it will contain space for the details of the claim. If you are seeking for a money judgment, then you might want to prepare and file a type of civil warrant called the warrant in debt.

Another type of civil warrant that is commonly issued is called the warrant in detinue. This is used by the plaintiff in order to obtain a possession of a specific personal property that he or she considered to be wrongfully possessed or withheld by the defendant. These forms can be filled out by a non-lawyer who is representing him or herself.

The civil warrant is basically commonly used in the small claims court. In order to file it, you will need to give the court clerk the name of the defendant, the amount of your claim, the basis of the claim, the current address of the defendant, and the sufficient funds to pay the fees, such as the filing fee and the sheriff's fees in order to serve the warrant.

As you can see, the civil warrant is basically simple to understand. These warrants are basically used in the civil court and are commonly used by filing small claims.

What is an Alias Warrant?

You'll see that there are quite a lot of types of warrant. If you are studying law or that you have an interest with the law, it is important that you should know about the different types of warrants in order for you to become more informed and more aware about the proceedings of the law. Even if you are a regular person, having knowledge about the different kinds of warrant can help you in case you or someone you know has been issued with a type of warrant.

One type of warrant is called the alias warrant.

Basically, the alias warrant is a type of warrant that is issued by the court when no plea has been entered on the case you are involved in, particularly if you failed to appear in court. This type of warrant can be issued if you also fail to appear on the initial appearance on the citation or you have failed to appear on court on the scheduled court date.

You have to remember that when you receive and sign a citation, this is as good as a promise that you will appear in court. If you fail to appear, you will automatically have two cases instead of one. This additional offense is called Failure to Appear, which is under the Penal Code.

This type of warrant gives the authority to arrest you. You can bond out of jail by cash bond, bail bond, attorney bond, or PR bond.

As you can see, alias warrants should be taken seriously. You need to appear in court in person or by mail on the scheduled court date. Or else, you will be charged with an additional offense and an alias warrant will be issued on your name.

Whose Phone Number Is This? Find Out Whose Phone Number This Is With Reverse Phone Lookup

Whose Phone Number Is This? Find Out Whose Phone Number This Is With Reverse Phone Lookup-Tickets

You may receive a telephone call from a phone number you don't recognise, and will probably ask yourself, whose phone number is this - especially if you get several anonymous calls from the same phone number. Or perhaps you found a phone number on your spouse or partner's cell phone, or written down on a scrap of paper in their wallet or purse, and you're suspicious of who they might have been talking to. There are several reasons why you might want to find out whose phone number it is.

Tickets

So, now you've got the phone number, how do you go about putting your mind to rest, or confirming your suspicions one way or another? Well, there are a few things you can do which don't cost anything.

The simplest one, if you're feeling brave enough, is to simply call the number and ask who it is. If you don't want to do this, and a lot of people wouldn't want to, then get a friend to call for you. If you're a girl, get a guy friend to call for you, and if you're a guy, yes, you guessed it, ask a female friend to call the phone number. It's much easier for someone of the same sex as the caller to make that sort of call without attracting the suspicions of the person at the other end. Of course, this method won't always work, especially if the person whose phone number it is doesn't want to be identified.

So, what next? Well, you could try Googling the number - you never know, you might get lucky, although it's a long shot. While you're on Google, it's probably a good idea to look for some free Reverse Phone Number lookup websites, and give those a try. There are a few of them around, and you might be lucky, but to be honest, the databases they use aren't that comprehensive, and if you think about it, would you give that sort of information away for free if people are prepared to pay for it? Probably not.

This brings us to the most effective way to find out who the number calling you belongs to. You'll need to use a paid Reverse Phone Number Lookup service. They only cost a few dollars, and they are much more reliable and comprehensive than the free services. Look at it this way. If you don't spend just a few bucks now, you could be worrying about the mystery phone number for quite a while, and causing yourself unnecessary stress, just for the sake of the price of a couple of movie tickets. Think about it - it's not that much to pay for peace of mind.

Top Ten Math Tips For Parents

Top Ten Math Tips For Parents

Math can be a difficult subject for many students. Most children loose interest in mathematics, simply because they think it's too hard. Parents and teachers may find it difficult to motivate their students to complete their math assignments. Here are some suggestions to help your students in solving their math problems and overcome their fears:

1. Encourage Them!

You can improve your children's learning ability by providing them a positive environment. Many teachers often forget to encourage the efforts of their students. Children should be appreciated when they correctly solve their math problems. Teachers should mark their assignments, leniently. They are advised to keep their tone and attitude positive, since children can easily pick up signs of negativity.

2. Follow up on Homework

Teachers must ensure that children understand their homework. If the students are facing problems then the teachers should properly explain the assignment to them. Children will feel easy once they know what they have to do. Teachers can further assist by guiding them on what they should do the difficult parts. They should be able to judge the students response: do they understood the problem or not? Children must be provided further assistance if they need it. Parents need to monitor the progress of their children to make sure that they are doing fine. They should encourage them for their good performance.

3. Demonstrate the use of Math

Parents can also use real life examples to teach math to their children. School going children can learn a lot from every day examples. Simply ask them to calculate the money you have to pay for tickets, next time you go out to the movies. Try multiplying the number of cars of two different colors.

4. Real Life Math

Explain to your children how they can use math to solve their problems. They should understand that math is not about using simple arithmetic skills like addition and subtraction; it is much more than that. Children can use their mathematics skills to solve every day problems. They can find out how many pieces of pizza you need to cut so that it can be shared in your family. Just go beyond the daily assignments and let your children explore the real world problems to improve their mathematics. This will show them the true value of math in their lives.

5. Get them to talk!

Encourage your kids to talk. Tell your child to solve their math problems by talking about the correct steps. This will allow you to monitor what he or she is thinking. You can detect the problem areas while your child is talking his way through the steps.

6. Everybody loves money.

You should teach your children money skills. Your kids can use fractions and percentages to find out how much savings they have made on a particular purchase. For example if your children went to a movie that costs and they have saved , so in terms of fractions they have saved 1/3 of the amount or 33%

7. Telling Time

Teach your children how to tell the accurate time. Use digital and analog clocks for this purpose. You can talk with them about, seconds, minutes, hours and days.

8. Make Math Games

Learning mathematics should be a fun activity for your children. You can combine math with various games to make it interesting for your children. Other effective methods of teaching involve use of flash cards that test the child's math skills to help him get better in mathematics.

9. Use Computers

You can increase your child's learning speed by using computers and various educational software. Today's children are much more familiar with computers than their parents were at the same age. There are many computer games that involve the use of math skills. Senior students may be interested to learn about spreadsheets and calendars to improve their mathematics.

10. Talk to Teachers

Parents and Teachers should communicate with each other on a frequent basis. They should assist the students in learning the proper mathematics skills. Parents can play an essential role in improving their children's performance by regularly communicating with the teachers. They can work with the teachers to solve their children's problems.

BEFORE You Win the Lottery - 10 Things to Do

BEFORE You Win the Lottery - 10 Things to Do

In your heart, you know you are going to win a lotto jackpot eventually. Or else why do you buy lottery tickets? Here is some advice for your head and heart while you get ready to win.

1) Don't make promises you do not intend to keep. It is easy to tell someone: "If I won the lottery, I would pay off your mortgage" or "When I win the lottery, I will buy you a new car" Such statements, even meant as sympathy for another's plight, can come back to haunt you. You may forget you said it. Yet when you do win the lottery, that person to whom you uttered your promise will remember vividly and expect to collect their "due" And if you pay off the mortgage or buy that car, it will not mean as much if it had not been "expected" or "promised"

2) Don't trust anyone to hold your lottery tickets before the drawing. When large sums of money are involved, it is surprising how a long-standing friendship or family tie can become meaningless. Be forewarned: Buy your own lottery tickets -- or at least have them in your own safekeeping before the drawing takes place. As an extra precaution, sign the back of your winning lottery tickets immediately. After the drawing, possession is 99 percent of the law.

3) Stick to a budget. Don't play with money you are afraid to lose. Scared money seldom wins. Keep it fun so that your attitude remains positive. Enjoy it with others by pooling your money with friends, family or co-workers. Not only is it more enjoyable playing with others, but it also stretches your lotto budget. When you pool your money with others, you can afford to use the larger lotto wheels.

4) Have your lotto pool sign a Pooling Agreement. Pooling your money with others to share in more lottery tickets is a great idea, but do not pool your money with anyone without a signed agreement. You may think you are risking only a few dollars. But if the lottery ticket wins, you have put at risk potential millions.

5) Don't be afraid to skip a drawing. To further stretch your lotto dollar, play a large wheeling system once a month and skip the other drawings in between. Or use the money you might have spent (but didn't) on some other form of entertainment. If you have a multiple prize win, you can afford to spend more on lottery tickets next time, such as playing two or more lotto wheels. You may be on a hot streak. When you don't win, stay on a self-imposed budget until you win again. But keep in mind, there is one thing all lottery jackpot winners have in common: They all bought a lottery ticket!

6) Keep your lottery tickets safe. Keep your lottery tickets in a safe place and check them immediately after the drawing. Collect your small prizes (under 0) right away before the expiration date. Most states give you only 30 days to claim small wins from lottery agents. After that, you must mail them in or visit a claim center.

7) Save your losing lottery tickets. Save all of your losing lottery tickets because they are tax deductible, dollar for dollar, against your lottery wins. Receipts for other gambling losses can also be deducted against lottery wins. When you win even a second prize, you will be glad to have those deductions at tax time.

8) Play some low-odds games. If you want to start winning sooner rather than later, invest the greater portion of your lottery budget on the cash-5 game offered in your state. You will win more prizes more often when you play the lower odds pick-5 games. Top prize might be only a hundred thousand dollars or so. Nevertheless, I guarantee that when you win one, you will be very, very happy!

9) Trust your hunches. Although my strategies are scientific, based on mathematical probability, I am a great believer in playing hunches, too. If you feel strongly about a certain number, play it. Your inner conscious mind becomes stronger and more accurate as you use it. Even your hunch muscle has to be exercised to work efficiently. It is very important to think of yourself as a lucky person -- to think of yourself as a winner.

10) Practice saying, "No," before you win the lottery. The most important word any jackpot winner can learn to say is an emphatic "No!" Many jackpot winners have gone bankrupt because they allowed freeloading friends, relatives, neighbors, and others to bleed them dry. If you think you don't have the backbone to harden your heart against endless sad tales of need and greed, then do not accept your lottery win in a lump sum. Opt for the annuity payout and collect your lottery win in annual installments.

How To Gain Respect

How To Gain Respect

There's a secret to gaining respect - one that I had the good fortune to learn early in my career - and from a most improbable source. The secret to getting respect is to give respect.

Read on to see how that lesson was taught to me by a very special person.

Early in my career I was Branch Manager of a temporary help service. The largest part of our business was done in the Labor Division. The workforce was made up of day laborers - men who had fallen on the hardest of times. They were paid by the hour, and could receive a daily draw against wages earned. For most of them, working and getting the draw was the difference between having food and shelter or going hungry and sleeping in the Mission - or worse.

Every morning at 5:30 AM our office would open, and in would file the men looking for work. There were as many as a hundred who waited, drank free coffee, and hoped to be assigned and dispatched to a job. Many were assigned - some were not.

Early morning was a time when lots of bad things could happen - anger at not getting assigned - anger at perceived insults - anger at life - and anger at being treated poorly by the full time staff. The result had been a number of fist fights, knife fights, and one attempted shooting. Those problems resulted in a decline in business. I was sent there to correct the situation.

Our product was the labor that these men performed. It was in our best interests to maintain a positive relationship with our own people. Unfortunately, many men left for jobs feeling angry, patronized and disrespected. Some never showed up at their assignments, others walked off the jobs, some forged their time tickets.

Observing the situation for a week I could understand why the men felt that way. They were patronized - they were treated as the bottom of the barrel - they were not given any reason to feel valued. And when one was publicly humiliated - and that happened too often - they all felt that humiliation. The only thing most of these men had left was a shred of self respect - or at least the need to feel respected. When that need for respect was abused, when it was not recognized, bad things happened.

The first step to change occurred when my boss gave me a sign to put up in the office- visible only to the full time staff. It said "There but for the grace of God, go I." A constant reminder of the thin line between good fortune and bad fortune.

And then we set up four rules that full time staff were required to follow:

1 - Every man who showed up for work, regardless of his condition or qualifications was to be addressed as "Mister" followed by his last name. First names could be used once the person was known. The use of any abusive name, description or nickname was prohibited

2 - Any discipline would be done confidentially, and without the use of abusive and demeaning terms

3- No assignments that were known to be unsafe would be accepted

4 - Assignments would be given on the basis of length of service, ability, past performance and availability.

Those were the rules. Some full time staff had a problem with these simple rules - they were replaced.

Into this environment walked a man named Riley Bentley. Mr Bentley was an African American - like about half of our workforce. He was big, muscular and an intimidating looking and acting man. He had a silver earring long before they were popular, and he had a "keep away from me " manner. He was sober, he had no problem filling out the application, he looked you right in the eye. He was hired. From the first day, every job he was sent on resulted in excellent reports. He would come back every night, get his draw, and leave. No talk, no socializing - nobody messed with Mr Bentley.

He worked for us for about six months, then, like so many others, he stopped showing up. We had customers tell us if he came back they wanted to know - so they could get him back.

After a three month absence, Mr Bentley walked back in. I was running the Labor Office - it was hard to get and keep full time staff who would obey the rules and treat the men properly, and when they left or were fired, I filled in. I was glad to see Mr Bentley and I told him so. He had lost some weight, but he was still the strongest, hardest working man we had. One night, Mr Bentley came back to the office just before 6 PM - closing time. He looked me right in the eye and said I could call him Riley. I said that he should call me Andy, and we shook hands on it. He walked with me to my car after I had closed up - I asked him if he needed a ride - he said no and kept walking. That became a regular thing. He would arrive at the office just before closing time after working hard all day - and then chat with me and then walk me to my car and head off into the night.

And then Riley was gone - and I hoped he had found a full time job - he deserved one.

A few months later Riley was back, thinner, but still as strong as ever. I noticed he perspired a lot, even though it was fall and cold and he did not wear a jacket. While he was gone we had gone through two new full time staff - and I was back to opening and closing the Labor Office. Riley resumed coming in every night and spending time leaning on the counter and looking out to the street while we talked and I took care of business. Part of the business was paying the men in cash. We kept a large sum of money in small bills for that purpose. We had a safe but it was so busy during the after work hours that the money was in the safe, but the safe was kept unlocked. Anyone could have come in and held me up. Riley could have turned me upside down and taken the money and there would have been no way for me to prevent it. I think Riley read my mind. One night he told me the reason he always stayed until I locked up and why he walked me to my car was to thank me for showing him respect - and his thanks was to provide me with his personal protection. I was ashamed for my concerns - and glad I had Riley - our office was in a very tough part of town.

Riley worked a few more weeks - he seemed to be in distress when he came in at night - perspiring heavily, shivering, but he persisted. He would not discuss his physical condition, and he would never accept a ride or any other kind of help.

And then he was gone. A few weeks later one of our regular men came in and told me Riley had been found in his room - in a chair - and he'd been dead about a week. I was stunned, and saddened, and sorry about the loss of my friend - because we were friends, in our own special way. Riley had given me his protection as his way of expressing his respect. I had given him respect because it just made sense - on a personal and business level, to recognize the humanity of our people. I was repaid a hundredfold for that by Riley.

Ever since that time, Riley Bentley is in my prayers - and he always will be.

Riley taught me the secret to gaining respect. The secret has stayed with me since that time. It's pretty simple. The secret is you get respect by giving respect. I will be forever grateful to Riley for that lesson.

There are other elements to gaining respect, such as keeping your word, making good on commitments, honoring what you promise. But aren't they all part of giving respect? I think so - giving respect is the cornerstone to getting respect.

In your own life, take the time to recognize people that you may have passed by. There's a saying " The true measure of a person is how they treat someone who can do them no good nor any harm." We all can profit from remembering that saying, and making it part of our daily self talk and behavior. And if you're really lucky, maybe you'll find a Riley Bentley in your life.

Start today.

Stock Chart Reading

Stock Chart Reading

As an investor you will want to check
out any equity before you buy it. Many investors
go to Morningstar which is one of the largest
providers of mutual fund information in the world.
It is assumed that their information is correct.
After all that is what you are paying for.

Recently the SEC (Securities and
Exchange Commission) called them on the carpet for
not correcting an error within a reasonable time
(whatever that is according to the SEC). Everyone
makes errors and this was no big deal.

It seems that when you went to their
site and drew up a chart or asked for statistics
on Rock Canyon Top Flight mutual fund it failed to
notify the potential buyer that the fund had
issued a very large dividend of approximately 25%
and the NAV (Net Asset Value) dropped from to
to reflect the .00 dividend.

When you ask for a chart of this fund
on MarketWatch, Yahoo, TheStreet or Bloomberg they
only post the NAV and do not make any adjustment
for the dividend or capital gains distributions.
Looking at the chart it appears the fund fell out
of bed. Because I look at so many charts I knew
immediately that this was a distribution and not
some calamity. It is best to call the fund to
verify this.

Most funds that make dividend and capital gains
distributions usually do so in December, some in
November and very few at other times during the
year.

Some nitpicker called the SEC and made
a complaint about Morningstar. Not that I am a big
fan of them (in fact I think their reports are
worthless) they get their price information from
other sources such as the above. If you are not
familiar with the requirement of mutual funds to
disburse their profit before year end you might be
fooled when you see the price suddenly drop.

This is important for potential
investors. I caution everyone to get a chart on
the Internet of at least a one year performance of
any mutual fund before buying. It is better to go
back to year 2000 to see if the fund manager was
able to keep from losing money during the last 4
years. Almost none of them could so they bamboozle
about how they did better than the S&P500 Index
which had a huge loss of 50% and remains down 25%
from those highs at this time. Don't fall for that
one.

Once again I caution that any purchase
should have an exit plan. One of the basic rules
of investing is never to lose a lot if you are
wrong. Small losses will not ruin your portfolio,
but big losses can ruin your retirement. Set your
loss limit (5%, 10% or ?) and stick with it.

Charts can help you with
buying/selling decisions, but check out their
accuracy as charting is not an exact science.

A Perfect Shopping Cart - Does It Exist?

A Perfect Shopping Cart - Does It Exist?

There are many good shopping carts out there. Many of them offering a myriad number of features at prices so affordable that practically anyone can afford to subscribe to one.

However, in order to determine if there is such a thing as a perfect shopping cart, we need to have a look at a few factors first.

Shopping Cart Affordability
As mentioned earlier, many ecommerce solutions come at really low subscription rates. Although many ecommerce software cost around per month, there are a couple which cost as low as a mere a month. At that price, even school going kids can afford a run an online store. However, do not expect a cart of that price to come with a bus load of features.

Carts in this price range usually come with certain limitations. These limitations would include a limited number of products, small disk space and the absence of email broadcast.

Ecommerce Software Features
Features can make or break a cart. Ecommerce solution providers used to charge for all the new features they provide. However, due to stiff competition, most cool features are now offered for free. These features would include content sliders, product zoom tool and auto responders.

Needless to say, these features have now become standard on online stores everywhere.

Free Ecommerce Templates
Attractive store templates cost money but recently, ecommerce software companies have been offering merchants with free ecommerce templates for free. This is certainly good news to new merchants who usually have a tight budget to stick to.

These new free templates are not only attractive but come with advanced drag and drop features which makes them very easy to customize. Merchants need not need to know any code to rearrange page elements as these elements now come in the form of widgets. Anyone familiar with Wordpress would be familiar with how these widgets work.

Ease Of Use
A shopping cart which is easy to use and navigate makes running an online business that much easier. Paid carts are generally easier to use than free carts because no programming knowledge is needed and help is always a phone call away.

An easy to use cart also saves time and that is important to many merchants who have day jobs and five-year old kids running about the house.

Conclusion
Sadly, the perfect shopping cart is still as elusive as ever. The cheaper carts lack so many features which are now standard in carts in to 0 range. Some of the more costlier carts have so many features that they bamboozle new merchants. Not all shopping carts offer free templates with the drag and drop feature, making customization a tad tedious.

The trick is to get a cart which suits your needs best. Sign up for a free trial and test a cart out before you subscribe.

Whistler Lift Tickets - Ways to Save

Whistler Lift Tickets - Ways to Save

Whistler won't cost you an arm and one very needed leg to ski.

Believe it. Whistler wants to remain the number one ski resort in North America and to do so, needs people to keep visiting - especially families. They realize the costs can skyrocket quickly when it comes to buying ski lift tickets for the whole group. That's why deep discounts are available for early bird bookers.

The Early Bird Catches the Best Lift Ticket Deals

Book Whistler lift tickets before the snow flies for the cheapest prices. If you wait until you get to resort you're going to pay the highest prices. Whistler Blackcomb rewards the early birds with significant discounts on lift tickets. This makes it more affordable to bring the whole family and maybe even stay longer than planned.

This resort knows how to capture its future customers at a young age. As part of the early booking discount you'll receive a free kids' ticket for every adult ticket at least 3 days in length. The dates and length of the free ticket will match those of the adult ticket. "Tots" 6 and under always ski free at Whistler.

When you compare what you'll pay in-resort versus what you'll pay by booking early, the savings will astound you. For the 2009/2010 season, a family of four (two adults and two children) skiing 6 days in January will pay approximately ,600 at the ticket window. If they purchased the same tickets earlier the cost plummets to 8, a total savings of 2 (more than half price).

Many of Whistler Blackcomb's travel partners will incorporate these savings into package deals while a few will sell the tickets separately from accommodations so that guests can create their own dream vacations.

Other Whistler Savings Tips

You've got your lift tickets taken care of, but there's still lodging, meals, transportation and entertainment to budget for. Do Whistler for less by heeding experienced ski traveler advice:

Lodging - Visit outside of prime holiday dates (Christmas: December 21 - January 1 and American President's Week: February 13 - 21). Shack up with a larger group in a larger vacation home and share the cost. Book direct from vacation home owners or smaller rental managers to avoid rates inflated with commission fees. Meals - Avoid eating out as much as you can. Almost all vacation rental homes/condos have full kitchen facilities for preparing your own meals. Unlike many ski resorts that only have expensive convenience shops, Whistler has a couple larger, reasonably-priced grocery stores. Stay away from buying full meals on the mountain. It's nice to warm up with a bowl of soup or some hot chocolate but you're welcome to bring along your own packed lunches to eat at mountain restaurants. Transportation - Getting around Whistler is easy by foot or free village shuttle service. If you're staying outside of the village/village north/upper village area, getting into town is a short bus or cheap taxi ride. Stay away from renting a vehicle if you can. You'll likely have to pay to park it and won't get much use of it while you're there. Consider Pacific Coach Line or Vancouver Shuttle & Charter bus service from Vancouver airport or split the cost of a private limo ride for not much more or sometimes even less. Entertainment & Activities - Do your research and almost never pay full price for non-skiing activities. Check with the tourist information centre in Whistler or find discounts online for pre-booking.

Forex Scams - The Truth You Need to Know

Forex Scams - The Truth You Need to Know

Forex scams - what are they? By definition, a scam means anything that represents a fraudulent business scheme, or what we call a "swindle"; these are illegal means of having a goal to "bamboozle" or deceive anybody. Now, the people's mindset when it comes to this matter is this: "for anything that doesn't make me rich overnight... I call those scams!". You see, the truth is that they don't want to take any time developing any kind of skills in forex marketing - people want "magic", something that pops up right then and there.... without them having to deal with those what they call "forex scams", putting no effort at all in the process. Now, that's something what I would call "crazily impossible"! If ever there's that kind of magic, two things would happen: first, every single person would be using it; and second, its effectiveness in any kind of business would not last. You must remember something: the money that you earn each and every day has to come from a source. With technology, the methods of the production of goods would improve, giving way to the improvement of every individual's standard of living and his income. It just a matter of "balance", if you do something that involves "real money"; gambling, trading, etc.-- without having any kind of goods and services produced in the process, what happens is that one person gains something and another one loses something.

When we talk about currency exchange, people or institutions who don't know and don't care take some of the "bad prices". People who take vacations abroad and institutions/businesses that import/export goods have one thing in common: they barely try to schedule their transactions/payments when the time comes that the currency rates are at their advantage. However, in the forex trading scenario today, the market is cluttered with many people and institutions in the "pure" forex market that it becomes impossible for everybody to earn their share of profits. So, if you're in some kind of online forum on the Internet, trying to determine whether those bad comments you have read about a certain kind of product are really a hint of scams, it would be of great help if you'd picture the things that are happening outside of the Internet... in the real world.

Think of this scenario: you purchased a book from a local bookshop, but the system that's in it is not effective for you. There could be two possibilities for this: either the things that are in the book are outdated, or just not suitable for you in some way. Probably you learned something from it, but it just wasn't that effective for you. But you wouldn't go back to that local bookshop and call the store owner/employees there a bunch of "scammers"! You'd be calling them as such if they would invite people to pre-order a brand new and great book about forex that was about to be produced and distributed, and everybody (including you) gave them the money... but what happened is that they closed the store and the store owner went out and left your town, then that's what you can safely call "one of those scams"! Now, going back to our earlier definition of what a scam is, it is not right to use this kind of word to point out to something being offered and given in any kind of good faith.

What's happening now is that everyone's getting very apprehensive about online purchasing, and they'll throw much of the word "scams" to everything that doesn't work for them without any grounds. The truth is is that it's just an output of a frustrated customer who's blaming the product for his/her incapacity to gain success with it, or rather the material itself did work at one point in time but is now outdated and used over and over again that it has become quite ineffective. You shouldn't buy those unless you'd want it for your personal collection, but to give justice to these materials, it's just isn't right to call these as "forex scams".

Whose Phone Number Is This? Find Out Whose Phone Number This Is With Reverse Phone Lookup

Whose Phone Number Is This? Find Out Whose Phone Number This Is With Reverse Phone Lookup

Opinion About Kick-Butt Cellulite Redux

Opinion About Kick-Butt Cellulite Redux

This is a review of the 'Kick-Butt Cellulite Redux' program from a cast in stone skeptic, who spent years trying to return her once smooth skin back to its original college time spender. I'm not young anymore, so now my butt is covered in dimples, like an orange peel. In other words, the cellulite, as I now understand it, was crumbling over my untoned and office chair perched muscles of my backside and thighs.

But that was before I tried the 'Kick-Butt Cellulite Redux' program. I want to mention that prior to using this, I probably sampled the other products too. I've wasted a lot of time and money on other programs, that now just sit untouched around the house. For instance, in my bathroom I have stored a cabinet's worth of special cloths, scrubbers, and an actual horsehair glove! At work I have a drawer full of creams and gels, and a pharmaceutical section of pills and herbal solutions. In my bedroom closet I have a shelf piled full of body wraps, vibrating massagers, and rollers. There is even a set of rubber underwear stored there.

Well, be sufficient to say that none of those ideas labor, though well intentioned or systematically intended. However I can report that I tried out the Kick-butt Cellulite Redux plan.

First off, this program is a lot about getting the right information on the problem of cellulite, or in my case, orange skin behind. When you subscribe to the 'Kick-Butt Cellulite Redux' package you'll also receive 'The Cellulite Reduction Report.' Atlas, a credentialed personal trainer and physical fitness expert. This report has in-depth information on the latest cellulite reduction scams making the rounds, and saved me from wasting money on the painful Lypomassage treatment centers that just sprouted up where I live.

The program focuses much more on doing rather than reading. Joey Atlas shows you how an Exercise Physiology schedule can get the Cellulite reduction job done in his 'Naked Beauty' eBook and video. The 'Kick-Butt Cellulite Redux' package includes those, plus sample 22-minute each schedules that you can use as a guide.

And included are cardio workouts to combat cellulite. These are 18-minute routines that Joey says are sure to bust up the cellulite. This cellulite routines really worked for me. I already owned a step machine, but unfortunately I'd gotten bored with it long ago. I use it regularly in my "Kick-Butt Cellulite Redux" routines.

The second video is a key component to the program, and focus' on shaping a flat, sexy, stomach. I never thought my stomach to be anything but sexy. (my husband thinks so) however I wouldn't exactly say that it is smooth. I've always considered it, but never got around too it until recently. These exercises are not the easiest I have ever done, but you can tell they are doing the job.

Also part of my 'Naked Beauty' exercise routine is the exercise routine outlined in the third online video called Tightly Toned Arms. This video is geared at preventing flabby arms like grandma has, which has always been a fear of mine, especially since I once read that cellulite is genetic (this was determined to be false, as I learned when I read the enclosed e-newsletter).

And lastly, the 'Kick-Butt Cellulite Redux' program comes with a DVD that you get free in the mail, titled 'Your Women's Total Body Home Fitness'. This DVD contained a generalized fitness program great for the whole body and not just my once lumpy backside.

So all in all, I highly recommend the the 'Kick-Butt Cellulite Redux' program, which in just under one month did more than anything now discarded in my closets and drawers.

Airline Tickets - How To Book Cheap Airline Tickets Without A Travel Agent or Agency

Airline Tickets - How To Book Cheap Airline Tickets Without A Travel Agent or Agency

Finding the cheapest airline ticket can be a daunting task. Some of us have been so ruthless to spend more time searching for the cheapest airline tickets than we will actually spent on our vacation. Some sites allow you to name a price others you bid. If you book through a travel agency then you have a middle man and they get a big cut.

Even with a travel agent you can get airfare tickets for free and all you have to do is pay the tax! There are ways to take a free vacation including airfare and hotel. Did you know kids can fly for free in most cases? There are a lot of loopholes in the airline industry that most people are just not aware of! For example you could save up to 70% on first class or business class. There are a lot of secrets the airlines do not want you to know.

There are other people who would just rather have a travel reward credit card and earn air miles this in essence will allow you to fly for free. If you have a personal travel agent and like to travel to Las Vegas, Ft Lauderdale or Orlando there are a few solutions that beat trolling around the search engines dailey searching for the cheapest airline tickets and end up with the lowest prices available cheaper than your travel agent can find.

Why not be your own travel agent and book your own tickets for that domestic or international flight and save?

There are airline booking search engines available that just focus primarily on vacations and discount airline tickets and cruises. You can even directly book with the airline that is offering the discount. My favorite travel search engine actually searches over 200 other travel websites for the best deal possible. Now how is that for saving time!

The internet is wonderful place to shop for airfare and plane tickets or vacation packages. Your best prices may not always be found online. The best way off line way to get the lowest prices is call the airlines ticket office and ask directly and usually a call placed after midnight after the system has been updated will often offer the lowest prices on airfare or available packages. Sometimes the airlines ticket office will offer vacation packages that include air fare and hotel that no agent will offer at unheard of prices.

Sometimes your best solution is not always a free one but once you have the knowledge to find the cheapest airline tickets you can use it over and over and feel confident you are getting rock bottom prices.

This 52" (132 cm) Sony KDL-52EX703 LCD screen for home and office use is equipped with some of the most cutting edge technologies that you can find in the market today. Unlike most of the other same TV screens available inside the market, this LCD by Sony is powered with LED backlight which not only helps consume power but also exalts your overall TV watching experience.

The ultimate Giga-contrast available in this Sony KDL-52EX703 screen is responsible for an amazing picture quality where the white and black textures are clearly defined to assimilate seamlessly with the m pixel throw. This LCD screen offers pixel resolution an awesome HD pixel strength at 1920X1080.

Another intriguing aspect of this screen is its presence sensor which helps in power consumption. It is a cleverly embedded motion sensor within the LCD screen that can detect motion in front of the TV and in case there is not motion for a set period of time then the screen goes in power saving or off mode automatically.

With the introduction of DLNA technology in this Sony KDL-52EX703 LCD you are in liberty to stream all multimedia data types to your Bravia from compatible devices, such as a laptop, mobile phone or music player, no matter where in the home they are located. This screen comes with a built in Wi-Fi hub which can get it connected to your home or office wireless network without any issues. You can then share any movies, photos and music right from your personal computer or laptop onto the home TV. All you need is a Wi-Fi dongle usb to accomplish this.

The LiveColour feature within the LCD screen can help you in toning up or reducing the color glare efficiently. You have an option to select from four color level modes which is not very common to other screens of the stature as this one.

All in all, Sony KDL-52EX703 is one of the best LCD screens that are yet to hit the market. If you are looking to buy a home theatre then this might be just what you are looking for.

Finding Affordable Walt Disney World Tickets

Finding Affordable Walt Disney World Tickets

Before you purchase Walt Disney World tickets, you should consider all the options available to you. For example, you must first consider if you plan on staying at a Walt Disney World resort or one of the hotels near Disney World.

There are different benefits for each decision. For instance, while you could save a few bucks staying nearby, you may have to rent a car or pay for parking. Next, you must consider whether or not you want to buy tickets for one park - like the Disney Animal Kingdom - or if you want a combo package to experience it all. Is this a brief stop, or a Disney vacation?

If you plan on just making a quick run through Disney World Orlando and it's not the sole basis for your trip, then there are a few ways to save on single day tickets. For some, is small potatoes for a whole day of fun. However, when you add meals, parking and hotel accommodations, that single day can be somewhat expensive.

"Discount Theme Park Vacations" is currently offering two one-day Disney tickets for ! However, you will have to stay at one of the hotels near Disney World that the site is partnered with. The good news is that these hotels are value-conscious and if you don't have a spot booked yet, then this will be the least expensive way to see Disney for the day.

On the other hand, if you're planning a Disney vacation, you'll want to find a package deal that includes Walt Disney World tickets. Many travelers are surprised to find that the official Walt Disney World Orlando website has many super affordable deals. If you want to look elsewhere, travel sites like Expedia or Orbitz offer last-minute deals too.

A sample trip from Expedia would be a 4-night air/hotel package for two, leaving from New York and staying at Disney's Pop Century resort, for 3. Orbitz is offering a 0 discount on 5+ night Disney vacation packages, for a stay at a Walt Disney World resort.

When looking for Walt Disney tickets, you should beware of Time Share solicitation deals that offer free or discounted park admission. While there is no mandate saying that you have to buy something, the presentation always lasts longer than a few hours and you'll encounter several persuasive salespeople pressuring you to buy, buy, buy!

Time Shares are a great deal if you and your family plan to travel every year and if you're the type of family who needs 5-star accommodations. If you're considering vacation ownership, then you could always look into the Disney Vacation Club, with memberships starting at ,640, plus closing costs & small annual dues. That way you'll at least be entitled to special Disney privileges, and discounts and trips outside the country with one of Disney's many partners.

How to Absolutely Find the Cheapest Plane Tickets

How to Absolutely Find the Cheapest Plane Tickets

Do you think the best way to get the cheapest plane tickets is by calling the airline?  Or, do you scan through hundreds of websites provided by search engines to find low airfare tickets?  Maybe you hope to find cheap airfare in the local newspaper's travel section.

Finding cheap airline tickets can be one of the most frustrating experiences that most of us learn very quickly. Of course, most people eventually give up after spending hours scanning websites that offer virtually the same flight schedules and pricing. People purchase what they believe is the cheapest plane ticket, only to find their neighbor paid just a third of what they did!

Unless you understand the concept of of how airlines set prices, all the searching in the world won't provide the cheapest airline ticket prices. The following information will give you a guide to follow, as you wander through the maze searching for cheap airfare.

Understand how prices are set by airlines! Ticket pricing is complex and unpredictable, and driven by competition, demand, and inventory. Airlines call this "yield management."

Competition is the beast behind the cheapest plane tickets. All major airlines utilize central reservation systems (owned by various airlines) to fill available seats. The systems are known as Apollo, Sabre, Worldspan and Galileo. Prices are based on demand, and if some flights are selling well, the price will increase. If the flight is unpopular and has very little demand, the fare is lowered in hope of attracting consumers. In short, fares and inventory change every minute of every day!

Finding the cheapest plane tickets is difficult because travel agents and Internet websites use the central reservation systems that are updated periodically throughout the day. The reason why different searches come up with different results is because the systems are not updated at the same times. And, each system may use different algorithms when searching for low airfare tickets, which can provide a variety of ticket prices.

Demand drives fare prices up or down, and explains why it's usually cheaper to fly on weekdays, late nights, or non-holidays. Ticket pricing is based on competition. And, to complicate matters if one airline drops rates by 20 percent, most airlines will drop their rates as well. This eliminates a discounter's (cheap airfare) competitive edge.

Differences in fares can exist for identical routes on different airlines because one airline might dominate the market share for that destination, thus cheap airfare tickets are not needed to entice passengers. And, all this happens at the speed of light! Prices can change while your credit card information is being provided, and what you thought was the cheapest plane ticket, suddenly isn't so cheap.

Inventory is another advantage used by airlines to entice potential fliers. Airlines designate seats into price ranges on flights to offer cheap airfare. Of course, people hoping to secure the cheapest plane tickets are attracted to these advertisements. But, most often, by the time you place the call to the airline, the seats are gone.

Inventory relates to demand, and if the availability is low but demand high, the wait for the cheapest plane tickets can be lengthy.  But, this does not mean you will not be successful in finding low airfare tickets.  Sometimes, airlines change fares or designate additional seats, depending on ticket sales.

These three factors (competition, inventory and demand) are essential when looking for the cheapest plane tickets.  Before booking tickets for your next trip, take the time to do some comparison shopping.  Cheap airfare tickets are out there for the taking, and can be found.

Don't Worry, Be Happy - Mostly

Don't Worry, Be Happy - Mostly

The lyrics of Bobby McFerrin's song include:

Don't worry. It will soon pass, whatever it is

In your life expect some trouble

But when you worry

You make it double

Don't worry, be happy

Being happy and positive in general is a preferable stance toward life, better for our health, creativity and longevity, according to many experts.

A recent ABC 20/20 program [The 'Fear Industrial Complex'] had numerous examples of how the media "provides the public with no shortage of things to fear. The message is clear: the world is a scary place, and you should be worried."

But as the program explained, so many of those fears are really unfounded. "We often worry about things that... are not very dangerous, but which seem it. And the reason they seem it is because of... the media who show images and tell stories about terrible, terrible things that happen," said Stephen Dubner, co-author of "Freakonomics."

Psychiatrist Judith Orloff, M.D. [author of "Positive Energy"] warns, "Fear is the biggest energy thief there is. A master seducer and gigantic source of negative energy, fear shamelessly robs of us of everything good and powerful, preys on our vulnerabilities.

"Many people become mesmerized for a lifetime, letting negative attitudes seize control. Enough! Though some fears are intuitively protective but we can't let the irrational ones bamboozle us."

In contrast to all that, actor Jim Carrey recently commented in an interview [LA Times], "I wanted to find out what makes people happy. I thought it was just making them laugh. And that's a fantastic thing, because that does give them temporary freedom from themselves.

"But it's not the answer. The cure is people realizing who they are and that there's nothing they can do on the earth or nothing that can happen here that will add to them or take away from them at all. You need to just relax."

He added, "What can I make out of the Lego set of life? Can I make something fun out of this? It's all about being happy, man."

But we don't feel happy all the time, and some degree of anxiety can even benefit us. Phobias, social anxiety, stage fright and other forms of anxiety may be harmful - emotionally and creatively corrosive.

Although she seems to be untiringly joyful, Drew Barrymore has been quoted, "You have to fight unhappiness... As much light as I have inside me, there's just as much darkness, I'm afraid. There's a polarity, and I still have demons to work out."

Alanis Morissette thinks "We're taught to be ashamed of confusion, anger, fear and sadness, and to me they're of equal value as happiness, excitement and inspiration."

And temperament is an aspect of all this. In a BBC News article, "The science of happiness," psychologist Martin Seligman, author of the book Authentic Happiness, refers to changing our biological set point of happiness, and says, "The best you can do with positive emotion is you can get people to live at the top of their set range. But you can't take a grouch and make him giggle all the time."

Musician Sting was asked in the documentary All We Are Saying: "Do I have to be in pain to write? I thought so, as most of my contemporaries did; you had to be the struggling artist, the tortured, painful, poetic wreck. I tried that for a while, and to a certain extent that was successful. I was 'The King of Pain' after all. I only know that people who are getting into this archetype of the tortured poet end up really torturing themselves to death.

"And I'm thinking, well, I would just like to be happy," he continues. "I'd like to do my work, and be a happy man. I've got enough memories of pain, of dysfunctional living, a reservoir to last me the rest of my life."

But can anxiety or fear be useful?

AIDS researcher Anthony Fauci, MD has commented, "One of the by-products of being a perfectionist and constantly trying to improve myself are sobering feelings of low-grade anxiety and a nagging sense of inadequacy... This anxiety keeps me humble."

In his article Writers Thrive On Anxiety, Bryan Knight recalls reading a "startling statement": "A writer's fears are never 'conquered.' Nor should they be. When anxious, I'm also sharp: alert, observant, sometimes even witty. Fear energizes me." The quotation is from Ralph Keyes, author of The Courage to Write.

And psychologist Robert Maurer, PhD thinks "Fear is good. As children, fear is a natural part of our lives, but as adults we view fear as a disease. It's not a disease. Children say they are afraid or scared, but adults use the clinical terms anxiety or depression. A writer should not view fear as something bad, but as essentially doing something right."

All of these terms - fear, anxiety, happiness - are highly variable, with many layers and levels. One of the most significant aspects is in terms of energy economy: having to deal with a disruptive level of anxiety (not simply any amount) diverts our feeling and thinking energy in self-limiting ways.

So overall, keeping ourselves feeling good, with a positive disposition about ourselves and life, is probably the most healthy and productive way to empower ourselves.

Teachers on The Secret DVD even consider it a metaphysical issue. Joe Vitale says, "It's really important that you feel good, because this feeling good is what goes out as a signal into the universe, and starts to attract more of itself to you. The more you can feel good, the more you will attract the things that help you feel good, and bring you up higher and higher."
